My Dear Sweet Daddy has Gone to Heaven. My Heart is Broken

My heart is broken and the pain is unbearable.. My dear sweet Daddy passed away Feb. 3rd. I have been in Florida for the past two weeks. His service was beautiful and I was told one of the most beautiful they had ever seen. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was the most kind, gentle man I ever knew. All of the family are devastated. He passed away exactly one week to the day after his baby sister passed away.   My best childhood friend that I have not seen in 40 years came down to be there for me and she loved dad dearly. She said he was the finest man she had ever known. He truly was. I loved him so much and will miss him and his calls. He will be in my heart for as long as I live.

Embossed Sympathy Card

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well.  I just came back from the Y. I'm trying to get in some sort of shape.             My Aunt Pat (my Dad's baby sister) passed away Saturday afternoon. It was somewhat of a shock for us. She was diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago and the Doctor said she had 6 months to a year and now here she is gone.  I made one card for her family and one for my  Aunt June.   I decided not to make one for my Dad. I am going to send him a thinking of you card, something cheerful. He is 94 and Aunt Pat was 70 (8 years older than me) so it has bothered him.
I saw one on Pinterest like this and loved it.
I used one of my Anna Griffin embossing folders for the top layer.
The beautiful butterfly is from a DieVersions die set that I won from A Mermaids Crafts Blog-aversary (thank you Lisa, I love it)!
I heat embossed the inside sentiment. I used a stamp and Versa Mark.
I learned a new technique watching Youtube. Embossing using any pen including ballpoint!!! I just wrote out the sentiment sprinkled on the embossing powder then heat set! WOW, what a savings! I used my Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen Marker to highlight the butterfly and edges of the leaves. A single pearl was the perfect touch for the butterfly.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Baby Doll Diaper Bag and Diapers

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day!  It is cold here again but sunny.   I have been working on a project for my grand-daughter Ruby for the past week (well, I did have to make some sympathy cards as well).  Ruby got a new baby doll from Santa for Christmas so of course she needs accessories.  Well, I decided to make a baby doll diaper bag for her and to go in the diaper bag, what else but diapers and wipes! I will get a baby bottle too.  It was so much fun making it and choosing the fabrics (which I had all on hand)!
 Well here they are.
 I love the cute fabric!
This is the top of the bag.
I just love the little diapers! And she just had to have wipes! The wipes are made from white flannel so they are nice and soft.
A nice stack of assorted prints and colors!
 Isn't the yellow adorable!
 I love the cherries too!
I think Ruby is going to love this set and maybe, just maybe pass it on to her little girl one day.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this set.   Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!
Hugs Pam
